Position Overview: PACT is seeking a dynamic Membership Manager to lead membership growth, retention, and engagement efforts. This role is key to enhancing the value of PACT’s membership experience, building meaningful relationships, and driving the organization’s mission forward. The Membership Manager will report to the VP of New Business Development & Operations and work closely with all internal teams. This position offers significant growth potential for high-performing candidates ready to take on greater leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Growth & Retention:
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team on developing and executing sales strategies to achieve membership acquisition and retention goals.
- Identify and engage prospective members, including entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate partners, both in person and virtually.
- Foster strong relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and engagement.
- Cultivate, grow and maintain the awesome PACT Community of entrepreneurs, investors, companies, professionals advisors, community organizations and more!
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Collaborate with marketing to create data-driven campaigns that target and engage members effectively.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to identify sponsorship opportunities and member alignment with PACT’s goals.
- Oversee consultants and contractors supporting membership initiatives.
- Program Delivery & Engagement:
- Work with internal teams to deliver high-impact programming and events that align with member needs.
- Use data and insights to refine outreach strategies and improve the member experience.
- Ensure consistent, value-driven communications with members to highlight ROI.
- Metrics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze membership metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on membership performance and engagement.

Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of proven success in sales, business development, or membership management, preferably in the nonprofit, association, or entrepreneurial space.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed membership or revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and proactive, with a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial and investment ecosystems is a bonus.
Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role that requires looking at a computer screen for extended periods of time; however, some physical demands are required.
Standard Hours (including travel, evening, and weekend hours): PACT’s standard office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM at team member’s designated workspace. Some teams and positions work alternate hours because of the nature of their role. This will be discussed with your supervisor.
Event Requirements: PACT hosts ~25 events annually, and this role is expected to attend events on a regular basis. Hours preparing for events and the duration of events may not follow your regular work schedule. You may be required to stand for long periods of time, do extensive walking, and lift up to 25 pounds
