Contour Data Solutions Chooses Direct LTx to Host Enterprise Operations Center

Philadelphia-Area Firm to Create Dozens of Tech Jobs in Direct LTx Reading Data Center Facility

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Nov. 9, 2021 / – Contour Data Solutions, a fast-growing provider of strategic IT solutions for Philadelphia-area companies, today announced the selection of Direct LTx, a data center and IT infrastructure provider in Reading, Pa., to host Contour’s new enterprise operations center, where networks, clouds, systems, backups, events, and alerts of Contour Data Services customers will be monitored and logged, 24x7x365. Contour will create over a dozen high-tech jobs initially with substantial additional hiring anticipated over the next 24-36 months.

Contour currently hosts their data center infrastructure at Direct LTx and the new facility under construction leverages available office space and other resources at the Direct LTx technology campus on Bernville Road in Reading. Contour is scheduled to open the new enterprise operations center later this month. Contour Data Solutions’ corporate headquarters will remain in Doylestown in Bucks County.

“Our customers are increasingly expressing concern about climate change and the severe weather events that have impacted IT services availability in the Philadelphia area in recent years, which led us to do a thorough review of all available service options in the market,” said Rocco Guerriero, founder and chief executive officer, Contour Data Solutions. “The resiliency and uptime record we’ve enjoyed at Direct LTx as a data center customer made it the obvious choice to host Contour’s new enterprise operations center. With the generators and other redundant electrical and mechanical systems at Direct LTx our customers can maintain 100% uptime indefinitely in a power emergency or severe weather event, with their data safe in a hardened underground data center located more than 80 feet above the 500-year flood plain.”

“It’s been impressive to see Contour Data Solutions’ explosive growth at Direct LTx and we’re thrilled to once again expand the relationship between our two companies,” said Todd Taylor, chief executive officer, Direct LTx. “The new enterprise operations center will add another dimension to the wide array of mission-critical business services Contour offers and we’re grateful to see them adding good, high-tech jobs based out of our facility. Our founder, the late Albert Boscov, created the company to facilitate technology job growth in the Reading area, and it would make him proud to see how companies like Contour are able to leverage Direct LTx resources and Reading-area workers to develop world-class products and services.”
