The Annual PACT Capital Conference is almost here. In anticipation, we wanted to share some of this year’s can’t-miss activities.

PACT Fest

Bring your appetite, business cards, and best smart chic attire to the Reading Terminal Market on November 16 for PACT Fest. Formerly known as the Gala Reception, PACT Fest is the kickoff event that takes place the night before the conference. Attendees will enjoy Philadelphia’s culinary delights from local vendors at the Terminal as well as have the opportunity to network with fellow attendees ahead of the conference. Start your event experience with a fun night of celebrating local entrepreneurship.

Featured Company Presentations

Follow along from the beginning as more than 45 featured companies present their pitches live in front of investors and professional advisors. They will receive direct feedback and even have a chance to bring home funding for their ventures during these pitching hours. Learn about new ventures from a variety of industries, including technology and health care, as well as various growth-stage sectors. And keep up with the ongoing battle for the top three spots where the finalists get the chance to compete at The Lion’s Den for their final pitch.

Keynote Speaker- NASA astronaut Captain Scott Kelly

Don’t miss the chance to hear from Scott Kelly, an American engineer, former military fighter pilot, and retired U.S. Navy Captain, and NASA astronaut. He is also the author of two New York Times bestsellers: Endurance: A Year in Space, a Lifetime of Discovery and Infinite Wonder: An Astronaut’s Photographs from a Year in Space. During his time as an astronaut, he completed a historic “year in space” mission and acted as the commander of the International Space Station on three other missions. Hear his personal accounts of the obstacles he faced on his journey and the skills he used to overcome those obstacles. Get inspired by the stories of his accomplished career and record-breaking space explorations.

The Lion’s Den

Last, but certainly not least, experience the conclusion of CapCon at the highly anticipated investor event: The Lion’s Den. The final three entrepreneurial companies from the conference will enter the Lion’s Den to present their business ventures to a panel of potential investors. Experience the excitement of on-site commitments from investors and see the next big idea come to life!
