2021 Capital Conference Recap

That’s a wrap on the 2021 Capital Conference! Sincerest thanks to the almost 500 people who joined us for the Gala at the National Constitution Center and the 2021 Capital Conference at the Downtown Philadelphia Marriott. In spite of it being just our second post-COVID event, it was a rousing success.

We had 45 companies who pitched and over 50 Venture Capital firms who attended. For the first time in 7 years, all 3 finalists in the Lion’s Den received deals! Congrats to nicotine tech startup Hale Therapeutics, natural hair care company Naturaz and direct-to-consumer arch support company Fulton on making deals with our Lion’s. It’s no easy feat.

Thanks to our exceptional group of Lion’s: Michael Wells, managing director at Princeton Biopharma Capital Partners; Robert Keith, president of Nouveau Capital; Mikal C. Harden, founder of Juno Capital; Max Kanevsky, CEO of Pinnacle 21 and founder of OpenCDISC; and Dr. Robert Corrato, founder of Versalus Health and our moderator, Marc R. Lederman, general partner at NewSpring Capital.

In case you missed the two days of events, or if you want to relive them, we compiled a bunch of highlights and coverage:
