AGENDA

NEWLY FORMATTED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Each year, this conference brings together investors collectively managing billions of dollars in venture funding with entrepreneurs and professional advisors. 2018 will foster that growth by increasing the number of featured companies and by honing in on their diversity. This means more opportunities for entrepreneurs and more connections for investors, all by showcasing Philadelphia’s investment activity to the larger Mid-Atlantic region.

The conference will also host the return of industry-specific panel sessions, prestigious keynote speakers, the 4th annual Lion’s Den, networking and high-visibility connections to sponsors and attendees alike, all of which will complement the main focus: connecting the region’s best and brightest entrepreneurs.

To celebrate our silver anniversary, the entire PACT Capital Conference will be held at XFINITY Live! Philadelphia culminating with the much anticipated Gala Reception directly following the Lion’s Den. Check out our developing agenda for the PACT Capital Conference 2018.

Room Block Closes September 12. For your convenience, we have a block of rooms reserved at a discounted rate at the newly constructed Cambria Hotel. Book your room today!

Breaking Boundaries in Healthcare
The healthcare market is facing several powerful trends including the increasing role of payers, pressure of cost containment and rise of consumerism. The industry’s effort to adapt and respond to these trends has driven the breaking of historical boundaries. Among existing healthcare companies this can be seen in the unprecedented wave of vertical integration and collaboration, combining previously distinct sectors including payers, providers and the retail channel. Beyond the traditional market segments, we have also seen exciting initiatives injecting healthcare with innovation from areas such as media, finance and tech.

Featured Company Presentations

The PACT Capital Conference annually highlights the top companies in technology and healthcare. In 2018 we will be highlighting companies in new pitch session tracks that have specific strengths in Philadelphia: Impact, Israel, China and Student-led. Impact investing has grown tremendously as more entrepreneurs and investors focus on making money while also doing good. Israel has long been a hub for cutting edge technologies and the ties between Philadelphia and Israel are longstanding. China has emerged over the last decade as a world leader in new technology in areas such as machine learning and clean energy. College students across the region are increasingly launching new businesses while in undergrad and graduate programs. We are excited to bring you these new investment opportunities to expand your knowledge as our world becomes increasingly global.
