2026 Ecosystem Awards Media Day ft.Gwendolyn Binder, Ph.D., President of Science & Technology at Cabaletta Bio

This week, PACT hosted its Ecosystem Awards Media Day, bringing together finalists and partners for a series of on-site video features that will be showcased during the 2026 awards ceremony.

Among those featured was Gwendolyn Binder, Ph.D., President of Science & Technology at Cabaletta Bio, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing engineered T cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. Cabaletta Bio has been named a finalist for the Health Care & Life Sciences Company of the Year Award, recognizing its leadership in one of the region’s fastest-growing areas of innovation.

“Cabaletta Bio has been in the PACT ecosystem since 2018 and we really appreciate the role they play in connecting scientific and technology leaders across the ecosystem in Pennsylvania. Especially in my particular space of cell and gene therapy. This is probably the leading area in the country in this field.” said Dr.Binder.

“So I really appreciate being able to work with improving the investment community, working with our legislators to address challenges/infrastructure opportunities and moments like today where they’re highlighting companies in the region to help us get the word out on the work we do.”

The 2026 PACT Ecosystem Awards will take place on May 19, 2026, at the Springfield Country Club, bringing together the region’s top founders, investors, and industry leaders to celebrate innovation across Greater Philadelphia.
