The Enterprise Awards – One Event You Don’t Want to Miss

We are only a few days away from the region’s most prestigious awards for technology and healthcare – The 23rd Annual Enterprise Awards. We hope you and your team will join us on Thursday May 12th.

“If you only make it to one of these big business events a year, the Enterprise Awards is definitely the one to attend,” noted Bob Moul, CEO of Cloudamize.

This year, over 900 of Greater Philadelphia’s top C-Level executives and entrepreneurs will gather together to celebrate the region’s talent and success. Hosted by PACT and Sponsored by Fairmount Partners In Partnership with KPMG, this black-tie gala honors investors, entrepreneurs, and companies that are pace-setters in innovation, leadership and advances in technology, healthcare and related fields.

The 23rd Annual Enterprise Awards will present the winners of the nine competitive awards, the Digital Innovation Award to CHOP as well as the Legend Award for Lifetime Achievement to John Martinson of Edison Partners.

Legend Award Honoree for Lifetime Achievement

PACT presents the legend award each year to an individual who has forwarded technology and sciences in the region through leadership and exemplary work.

John H. Martinson Founder and General Partner of Edison Ventures, and Chair of Martinson Ventures, has been selected to receive the Legend Award for Lifetime Achievement. John Martinson has been a venture capitalist and software industry leader for 38 years, specializing in software/services for life science and education. In 1986, he founded Edison Partners and currently serves as General Partner. John is also an active individual investor and philanthropist. Under his guidance, Edison Partners has invested more than $1 billion in 215 East Coast companies. John participated in 160 equity financings. He is currently a director of three private companies where Edison is the sole or lead investor. Previously, John served on Board of Directors of 68 companies.

John is an individual investor in 27 early stage companies. Previously, he invested in 35 private companies. John has also invested in 20 private equity partnerships. • A closing reception for celebration and building new connections
  • And a special announcement by PACT

And so I will leave you with a direct quote from Marc Lederman, Partner with NewSpring Capital, “The Enterprise Awards brings all of the top regional entrepreneurs and leaders together in one venue. Anyone you need to meet or connect with in Technology or Life Sciences will be there.”

I hope to see you Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Terrace Ballroom, PA Convention Center, Philadelphia for the 23rd Annual Enterprise Awards. Make sure to reserve your table, half table or seat today.
