Science Center Digital Health Accelerator

Message from Christopher Laing, MRCVS, PhDice President, Science and Technology, University City Science Center:

There are just three weeks left to submit a summary application to the Digital Health Accelerator (DHA). Please consider applying, and/or share the attached solicitation with your networks and any companies you think would be interested.

The Science Center is currently seeking entrepreneurs to grow their digital health companies in Philadelphia by participating in the second class of the Digital Health Accelerator. The Digital Health Accelerator (DHA) supports early stage digital health companies with funding, office space, professional mentorship and introductions to key healthcare stakeholders in the Greater Philadelphia region.

DHA Companies receive up to $50,000 in funding, office space at the Science Center’s ic@3401, mentorship and warm introductions into a variety of healthcare stakeholders including insurers, pharmaceutical companies and hospital and research institutions located in and around Philadelphia. For further details and to apply, please go to

The seven companies in the inaugural DHA class have gone from prototype to commercialization, generating revenues and now attracting major investment. In just one year, they’ve created 53 new jobs, generated $600,000 in sales and have raised almost $4 million in follow-on investment. The Science Center did not take equity from DHA participants.

Please contact Aron Starosta at if you have any questions.

If you decide to apply – good luck!
