Science Center CEO to Testify Before U.S. Senate Committee

University City Science Center President & CEO Stephen S. Tang, Ph.D., MBA is testifying before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation this afternoon (Wednesday, Nov. 6) at 2:30 p.m.

The Committee, which is chaired by Senator John D. (Jay) Rockefeller IV of West Virginia, will hold a hearing to begin the Committee’s work on the reauthorization of the America COMPETES Act, which funds government research and development initiatives that are critical to maintaining the country’s global advantage in these important areas. Steve is one of four panelists to help the Committee examine why the federal government must invest in research and development and STEM education, and how these investments drive innovation and the U.S. economy:
