Internet of Things (IoT) offerings are becoming increasingly popular to manage these disparate data sources across the board and, in particular, in healthcare. Whether it is through patient wearables, engagement tools, or smart pills, connectivity has demonstrated its value within the healthcare space. Tools like Apple Health, Google Fit, and Samsung S Health are helping integrate and analyze more data on how patients maintain their health. IoT devices like smart infusion pumps and pacemakers also present several new cybersecurity challenges for the industry. Join us in this panel to discuss both the current and future state of how IoT platforms will impact the healthcare ecosystem.

Some of the most interesting recent developments are in consumer-directed testing. An increasing number of companies are targeting patients with genetic tests that can inform their susceptibility to certain diseases. Who is ensuring that these tests are reliable?
