Earlier this week, Mayor Nutter and the City of Philadelphia collaborated with the Israel Advanced Technology Industries, Israel’s leading technology and life sciences association, to host an Innovation conference in Philadelphia.

SeventySix Capital partnered with the City along with Comcast Corporation, Drexel University, Greenberg Traurig, the Philadelphia Israel Chamber of Commerce, Chemi Peres of Pitango Venture Capital, Moss Rehab – Einstein Healthcare Network, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and many other leading corporations, institutions, and organizations to make the event possible.

Wayne Kimmel helped kick off the Conference along with Mayor Nutter and Deputy Mayor Alan Greenberger. Kimmel shared with the audience Philly’s strong points and why Israeli companies should do business in Philadelphia. Kimmel also shared the fact that his fund’s Israeli portfolio company was recently acquired by Intel and his plans on making future investments in Israeli companies.
