Chesco tech firm Archer plans hiring push following acquisition

A local technology firm that specifically caters to the asset management industry is expanding its workforce by a third following its acquisition of a portion of money management outsourcing operations from Lockwood Solutions.

Berwyn, Chester County-based Archer purchased a segment of Lockwood Solutions, a back office support services company for investment firms, from BNY Mellon last month – netting the local tech firm four new clients and seven new employees, said Bryan Dori, CEO of Archer.

The recent addition ups Archer’s total number of employees to roughly 60, said Dori, who added the firm plans to add up to 20 more before the end of 2017.

“We are constantly hiring,” he told the Business Journal. “Operations personnel will probably be the highest volume of hiring we’ll do between now and the end of next year.”
